Mood: I'm running away and coming back. Feet rotted on the ground. I love where I am.
Outfit: Before: Black tank top with the smallest string of sleeves, a tranluscent long-sleeved slimfit lace top and denim mini's with ankle-length, brown cowboy boots.
           After: Green Shirt form last year's Batch and black fitted gym shorts.

New Year's Eve.


When the clock struck twelve, it was dormant and slowly the wind blew in the horns and blasted music. She sits up to greet and wrap most everyone in a tight embrace, including the grans she used to feel awkward with. Photos taken in every angle, but not much of a solo one. The noise illuminates her every soul, causing her to celebrate. Body worked up, drenched in sweat, dancing the midnight out with a cousin-turned-sister by her side. Got tired for a while and took a detour to see her childhood friend whom she got a broken heart from more than 3 years ago. A message earlier was sent by her cousin, saying he's asked after her. A familiar flush creeps in her cheeks. Not the old feeling comming back, but the childish antics she used to have. She loudly exclaims how cute he is, and by some crazy thought, the message was transported by the same person, and funnily though, the feeling was mutual. A short reconcilation (hanging out) with a few neighborhood pals whom she shares laughter with and hugs. Passing by the house where a guy who's fond of her all this time. They all tease her with their might.

But the fun ends when she came back, regretting why she had to ever go out. She should've followed her instincts and paused the adventure. It all ends with a movie marathon, curling up the repositioned couch with her leg draped on her cousin's and hugging the huge pillow she slept with. And a movie called PPP involving Princesses & Hot guys.
